Materials in the Racing Industry
Guido Keijzers, senior materials engineer for Del West Engineering, will provide insight into daily challenges and interesting aspects for materials engineers working in the racing industry.
Recent Advances in Printed Circuit Boards
Hans Shin from Pacific Testing Laboratories will talk about the associated materials and construction of PCBs, relating some of the “problems” due to changes in technology (i.e. Pb free) and PCBs becoming more complex (smaller dielectric spacing); He'll also discuss contamination issues, solder joint defects, laminate problems, and other failures.
