Nano Materials for Structural Applications Presented by California Nanotechnologies, Inc., Dr. Patrick B. Berbon, President Dr. Berbon is pleased to announce that his venture DDG Cryogenics of Santa Barbara, California, has merged with Omni-Lite E-form of Los Angeles, California. The combined company has been incorporated under the name California Nanotechnologies, Inc. In addition, the new entity is being purchased by a Toronto Venture exchange company.  California Nanotechnologies is establishing itself as the world leader in nanocrystalline materials for structural applications. It combines the services of DDG Cryogenics, the premier supplier of affordable high quality cryogenically milled metallic powders, with the cost-effective continuous Equal-Channel Angular Pressing technology of Omni-Lite E-form. Both technologies will be described in details at the meeting. The company is building on its strong ties within the Aerospace, Automotive, Medical, Military, and Sports and Recreation fields to introduce new revolutionary nanotechnology-enhanced materials. Examples spanning the different target markets will be presented at the meeting. In addition, the company is leveraging its state-of-the-art microscopy capabilities by offering its suppliers, partners, and customers access to high-quality cost-effective imaging equipment. Finally, the company is combining DDG’s concepts of technology transfer with its access to capital through its public entity status to grow rapidly into adjoining fields of nanocrystalline grained materials. We are actively looking for partnerships with people working in these fields.
