Come join us at Cerritos College for tours and presentations by the Metallurgy, Plastics and Composites departments and a tour of the Welding training facility

Cerritos College Department of Manufacturing Technology

  • Hi-tech composit training facility including a 20,000 sq. ft. facility that houses a large variety of equipment including the latest ES200-18E electric injectioin molding machine from Nissei, an autoclave, and an RTM machine

          - Plastics Technology, Composites, Fiberglass Injection Molding,
            Modelmaking, Extrusion, Repair

  • Plastics Education and Recycling Trailer

  • Metals/Materials Science Laboratory including Buehler metallographic preparation room
  • Quality
  • Welding Technology including a 12,000 sq. ft lab area with 98 welding stations.
    - Welding Fundamentals, SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, Welder Certifications
