A special Saturday symposium will be held Saturday, October 9 in the Conference Room of SEAL Laboratories in El Segundo on the subject

“The Essential Features of a Heat Treatment Purchase Order”

The symposium will cover the essential topics that are needed in every purchase order for heat treating services.  REASONS WILL BE GIVEN FOR THE TOPICS, AND, ON THE REVERSE SIDE, WHY OMISSIONS CAN LEAD TO INFERIOR PRODUCTS.

The symposium is directed to metallurgical engineers/  purchasing agents / order desks AND ANY PERSON WHO MIGHT BE CALLED UPON TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER FOR HEAT TREATING SERVICES

The lead speaker / organizer is Ed Kopaskie of Aremac Heat Treating Inc., one of THE major heat treating facilities in the Los Angeles area. Ed has over 35 years in the heat treating business and owns a heat treating company and a company that designs and manufactures custom heat treating equipment. He is active in AMEC and was involved in the establishment of NADCAP. He is a member of ASM International, SAE, the Metal Heat Treating Association and the Metal Treating Institute.

The SEAL Laboratories facility is at 250 NORTH NASH STREET IN EL SEGUNDO between El Segundo Blvd and Imperial Highway. It is easily reached on the Los Angeles METRO GREEN LINE. The MARIPOSA STOP is closest to SEAL Laboratories.

The symposium will be a 10:00 am to 2:00 pm event.

The symposium cost will be $150 (CASH, CHECK, MONEY ORDER, or COMPANY INVOICE) and will include hard copies of the presentations as well as morning coffee, a nutritious box lunch and soft drinks.
